Potters Bar Carnival 2022

Ladbrooke School entered a walking float into the Potters Bar carnival parade this year, the first time it has run since 2019. The theme of the carnival was the celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The children and parents dressed in red, white and blue outfits, carried Jubilee and Union flags and wore golden crowns that they had decorated. We even had our very own Royal Ladbrooke carriage.carnival 2022

Congratulations to all those who took part and helped make the float such a success - we were awarded 1st place!

Dame Alice Owens Year 5 and 6 Athletics Festival

On Tuesday 17th May, Ladbrooke joined three other schools at an athletics festival hosted by Dame Alice Owens School. Every part of the grounds were occupied with groups of students enjoying every manner of activity from basketball and football to debate and dance, and the school seemed to be alive with energy – it was a lovely opportunity for our Year 6 children to see at first-hand what they might experience in just a matter of months when they move onto secondary school.
