On Sunday 19th April 2026, a small team of Ladbrooke pupils went to a badminton tournament. It started around 9am and ended at 2:15pm. We played against 17 different teams. There was a girls’ team and a boys’ team. We cheered each other on and everyone played really well. Eventually, we got to the knockouts. The girls team came 2nd as they unfortunately lost in their final game. The boys came 1st, winning their games 21-20 and 21-19 – very close! Because of our great scores, we came 1st overall. Our players were: Ege, Mikey, Beth, Melina, Kranthi and Kruthika. We had a great day, played some excellent badminton and had lots of fun.
