Wednesday 29th April
What a rainy day it was yesterday. I hope that some of you were able to use the day to get some learning done in different ways.
Today's maths and English is on Monday's links again.
I have added another geography task about France for you to to do some time this week if you are able to.
Tuesday 28th April
The English and maths are activities are found on Monday's links. I hope that everyone who wanted to managed to access the home learning hub on Twinkl. You need to register with twinkl as a parent using the link
https://www.twinkl.co.uk/offer and then use the code CVDTWINKLEHELPS
It's all free during the lockdown period and there are some lovely activities there. You can even access old ones, in fact the work this week is based on something they posted last Friday.
I will put a geography and art activity here to be done some time this week if you have time. The art activity is a 7 page document I would suggest printing just page 7 if you can and reading the rest on the screen. It is some information about an artist called Piet Mondrian and there is an art activity suggesting based on his work. I ahve used information from the Twinkl site to make this, but I have put it all on the link here.
The geography activity is to do some research about any European country that you are interested in. It could be a country you have visited or have family in...or any other.
Today's spellings and English work will be attached below.
The maths is a continuation of the White Rose maths lessons. Just continue from the lesson you reached last week.I think different people will have reached different places.
I will add a georgraphy activitiy later.
Friday 24th April
Hello year 2. We have got to the the end of another week. I hope you have all been having fun and doing some work. I have heard from lots of families this week and seen some pictures of the work that you have been doing so that is great. I have spent a long time today getting next week's English ready so I hope that you will have a go at all the activities when we get to next week.
You will find today's English and Maths in the link I put on for Monday 20th March.
Today's geography challenge is to learn the oceans of the world...but it is worth practising the continents again. The more we practise things the better they stick in our minds.
Good luck with all the tasks and have a lovely weekend.
