Good morning Year 4. It was lovely to see so many of you at the ‘picnic’ yesterday – you have all grown soooo much! I hope you enjoyed seeing your friends again, and the short time we had together. Please do remember what Mr Ward said. If you keep up with some work over the holidays – reading, maths, writing – then you will be in a much better starting place for Year 5.

As I mentioned yesterday, this week’s focus is going to be Reading Comprehension. Today’s work is about the Wimbledon Champions can be found here:

If you still want to do some writing, then a great way of keeping up with your skills is to write a diary, of the things you have been doing every day, your thoughts and feelings etc. Alternatively you could write to a relative whom you don’t see very often. I’m sure they would love to hear from you, and it is exciting when they write back.
