To compliment our current science topic of Habitats, Year 4 pupils visited the pond area in Parkfield to see what wildlife they could see. This followed a habitat walk around the school grounds where we found ants nests, snails, woodlice, millipedes a fox and some rabbit holes.
It was a beautiful afternoon for it and we were rewarded with sights of stunning blue and red dragonflies, moorhens and ducks. Unfortunately the heron which we had seen before was out doing his shopping!!
