On Friday 1st May, year 3 visited the Chiltern Open air Museum. In the morning we took part in a Stone Age workshop where we set up our own settlement. We were able to do lots of different activities including building shelters, preparing pigment for cave painting and learning about how Stone Age man would have started fires and cooked food . In the afternoon, we travelled forward in time to the Iron Age where we made clay pots, prepared butter, ground grain and baked bread on an open fire. We hope you enjoy looking at some of the photographs from our trip.
