Thank you to the children for continuing to work hard and coming to school each day. Thank you to parents and families for ensuring this happened and allowing us to be a part of your children’s learning journey.
Today we held our first whole school assembly outside for well over a year. Just the sound of the whole school saying good morning gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes.
At the assembly we announced the results of the Sports Day. We award two trophies, one for the team with the most points after the activity circuit and one for the team with the most points after the house relays. This year the results were …
Activity Circuit Trophy: Chester
Relay Trophy: York.
We also said goodbye to our amazing Year Six children. Each and every one of them has been so lovely to get to know. Watching them grow and learn has been an absolute privilege and we will miss them all. Go on to your secondary schools, strong in the knowledge that you have all the skills you need to be totally amazing. Just remember to come back and see us when you can.
Each year we award eight special trophies. This year it was harder than ever to decide who should win the awards but finally decisions were made. This years’ winners are:
Achievement by a Boy Zachary |
Achievement by a Girl Jasmine |
Achievement in Maths Daivik and Lyla |
Achievement in English Elsie and Luca |
Achievement in Science Ira and Max |
Achievement in the Arts Julia and Shiraz |
Achievement in Sport Harry and Lauren |
Endeavour Award Ben and Kashayiah |
Finally can I say a massive thank you for all your kind words of thanks and the lovely gifts you have sent in for staff and for myself. We are all truly thankful.
Have an amazing Summer break … see you in September!
