After an assembly discusing harvest and different ways it is celebrated around the world, the children discussed why it is important that we donate food to others and how just one item can make a big difference. Mrs Saunders then set up our harvest display and we waited to see what foods would be donated. As usual the school commnity did not disappoint and the display was soon filled to the brim.
On Saturday 24th October, the local food bank came to collect the food and passed on their thanks for your generous donations. The food you have given will make such a difference to families struggling to provide healthy meals each week.
