Monday 22nd - Friday 26th June 2020
Hello Year 6. It was so lovely to see so many of you last week in school. It was very strange to be in small bubbles and to only see you for two days, but good to see your happy faces, doing something a bit different to that of recent months. I am looking forward to doing it all over again this week.
Those children staying at home, please remember to write your memories of Ladbrooke into a short paragraph or a poem. This will then be used in our Leaver’s video that we are hoping to produce. The idea is that you are filmed, at home, catching a scrunched up piece of paper, opening it up and reading your memory, then scrunching it up again and throwing it off in the opposite direction. It will seem like it is being thrown to each person in the class.

Topic and Transition work can be done at any point for homeleaners, but the children coming into school will be doing this in class.
Art – Fingerprints. What are fingerprints? How do the police use them to detect crime? What do your fingerprints look like? Find out as much as you can about fingerprints. Draw and label your own.Powerpoint using in class. Activity
Transition – Write a letter to your new secondary school, introducing yourself. Tell them about you - family, likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc. Remember about first impressions! Handwriting!
Home STEM tasks – Have any of you been working through the starter tasks I have been uploading? Try these
French – Madam Elena has created another lesson for you to watch. Complete the relevant  pages in your French book
